I am a hard working and successful freelance photographic
artist. For many years I have explored and experimented with visual arts,
initially using film, then later with digital SLR photography and Adobe
Photoshop plus the inspiration of everyday life. I have initiated many
projects, acquiring a diverse range of expertise. My established client
base regularly use my work as a publicity tool in the following areas:
Special Events Photography, Reportage Photography, Creative Individual
Portraits and High Profile Portfolio shoots. I enjoy working along side
many international DJ’S and musicians threw out the music industry.
Experience & Employment: 2006 - Present:
Women’s Refuge Project
Commissioned by the projects to produce images and to design front covers
for annual report and domestic abuse programme. Advised on artistic layout
and worked to client specifications.
Creative Portraits & Portfolio shoots
Brighton / London / Cardiff
My creative flare for capturing people at there best and the production
of many strong high profile portfolio shoots has brought me work from
many clients. My reputation has earned me an established client base within
the music industries, enhancing DJ’s and musicians profiles also
providing images for album covers and high levels of publicity.
Lets Dance, The Dome-Brighton & Hertford Infants
School (Six week project)
Self-initiated project inspired by pupil rehearsals. Photographed the
children in school and theatre environmentand creating a story board of
events for a final display at the school. Recorded valuable images for
all those involved.
Freelance Live Events Photography
Brighton / London / Cardiff
I have travelled extensively across the UK covering many live music events
and club nights. Working in challenging situations has taught me an exceptionally
high level of photographic expertise. I am frequently used as a publicity
tool in some of the most popular music club nights around, including Frantic
and Transmission , two of the biggest selling live dance events in London
and have become official photographer for many artists, performers and
entertainers in and around the music industry.
Trancespiration Exhibition (Fourteen month project,
charity event)
My first self initiated Exhibition, I approached DJ’s from a collective
called 180’ an underground trance music night in Brighton. They
allowed me to photograph there night from every angle. I explored and
experimented with film and digital images, inspired by the challenges
of my environment. Working with a very tight budget and using my already
growing list of contacts I printed my own images at home using a flat
bed negative scanner & Adobe Photoshop. The successful exhibition
was held during 180’s sixth birthday club night.
The Bubble Room, Herons Dale School, Southwick
Commissioned by Herons Dale school to photograph selected artwork from
their exhibition and opening night. The pupil run art project was so fascinating
to capture on film that it inspired me to present them with their photos
in an album.
Various local government projects including Hollingdean
Neighbourhood Network, NRC & Sure Start, Hollingdean
Having purchased my first film SLR camera & two lenses I wanted to
use them every where I could, photographing my family & friends soon
turned in to photographing small local events. I became Hollingdean’s
official Photographer. Most of my work was voluntary, capturing charity
outings, seasonal events & Reporting for the local news letter. Later
being commissioned to cover reportage photography for local meetings &
open days. As my experiences grew so did my confidence, I started to use
Adobe Photoshop & designed Posters using my images. I thrived &
learnt well with my available surroundings.

Personal Profile & interests:
Being a child of an army father granted me the rich experience of travel,
I was born in Germany in 1975 and lived in Hong Kong . Inspired by the
available world, I see beauty & art all around me. I enjoy swimming,
walking & outdoor activities with my children when away from work.
I have a warm social life and a passionate love for music of all genres.
